OOTD – Schirm & Hut steht mir gut!

Was für ein ätzendes Wetter oder? Die Temperaturen in Deutschland, zumindest bei uns im Norden, lassen mehr als zu Wünschen übrig. Nicht nur, dass es für Ende Mai nicht warum genug ist. Es herrscht starker Wind und gefühlt alle zwei Stunden ein ordentlicher Regenschauer. Hut ist bei starkem Wind vielleicht nicht die beste Lösung, aber wenn er richtig passt, sollte er auch nicht wegwehen.

Den klimatischen Umständen entsprechend müssen wir uns natürlich auch kleiden!

Ich habe meinen Look durch die Auswahl der Stoffe so gewählt, dass ich dem Wind strotzen kann und gleichzeitig noch nach Frühling/Sommer aussehe.

Pasotti – Schirm mit Charme

Als Kenneth sich letztes Jahr einen Schirm gewünscht hatte und mir von der besagten Brand erzählte, war ich doch leicht irritiert, wie man so unglaublich viel Geld in einen Regenschirm investieren kann…und als dann eine Kooperation zu Stande kam und ich in den Genuss kam, mir das Sortiment mal anzuschauen, dachte ich mir dann „okay, happig, aber okay“.

Ich bin ein Fan davon in gute Qualität zu investieren. Mein langjähriger Begleiter, der mich vor dem Regen schützt, hat ca. 50,-€ gekostet. Zugegeben…ich finde das auch schon recht teuer, weil man ja auch Regenschirme für 2,50 € bekommt. Ob dieser dann genau so lange dem Wind standhält und der Schließmechanismus auch so lange mit macht würde ich aber ganz klar bezweifeln.

Ein Pasotti Regenschirm soll es sein! Wenn man in den Online Shop schaut, wird gleich klar, warum es sich um etwas Besonderes handelt. Ausgefallene Griffe sind hier Programm. Bei Kenneth war klar, dass der Horngriff her muss, weil er sich in diesen schon vor längerer Zeit verliebt hat. Ich für meinen Teil war vom Gorilla zum Papagei, aber letztendlich ist die Hundeliebe durchgekommen und die Dogge musste her! Was für ein schicker Regenschirm!

Stolz spazieren wir durch Findorff an diesem Tag mit unserem lieben Freund und Gentleman Niklas. Wir haben „Glück“ und es regnet sogar! Der Knirps von Niklas springt nach einem Knopfdruck auf und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Der Schirm von Kenneth hat einen Griff aus Horn und einen Schaft aus Holz. Die Firma Pasotti verspricht, dass das Horn von einem Tier ist, das eines natürlichen Todes gestorben ist. Nachdem man seinen Schirm per Hand gespannt hat, bekommt er seine Form und überzeugt noch mehr. Mein Schirm hat einen Hundekopf als Griff und eine massiven Chrom-Schaft. Der Wind kann kommen und der Regen ebenfalls.

GENTLEMEN´s WORD

Wie benimmt sich ein Gentleman mit einem Schirm? Auf jeden Fall aufmerksam! Denn es gibt schönere Sachen, als eine Spitze eines Schirmes ins Gesicht zu bekommen. Ebenfalls sollte man darauf achten, dass der Schirm gut abtropft bevor man diesen durch die ganze Location mitschleppt. Wer mit einer Dame unterwegs ist, sollte stets die Dame mit dem Schirm schützen, ist doch klar!

Pasotti – a special umbrella

Last year Kenneth´s wish was an umbrella from the brand, Pasotti. I was a little bit shocked in regards to how expensive the product is. Why do people invest so much money in an umbrella? When Kenneth informed me a few days before the Pasotti collaboration happened, I checked the online store and it changed my view about the products. But one thing is certain: I could justify paying the high price for the high quality of the product.

I am a fan of good quality. My old friend which protects me from the rain costs about 50,-€. That is also a lot in my opinion, because you can also buy one for 2,50 €. However, I doubt that the cheap umbrella will last the wind and the rain as much as my expensive one does.

Pasotti – the one it has to be! When you check the online store, you will see right away that Pasotti is a very special brand. In the brand special handles and colors are common. Kenneth has chosen a handle made out of horn, because he fell in love with that one long time ago. For me the gorilla or the parrot were two very nice options. But my love for dogs directed me into choosing one with a dog head! What a beautiful umbrella!

Proudly, we took a walk through Findorff, a quarter in Bremen, with our friend and a member of the GCB: Niklas. We were lucky because even the rain was with us! The compact umbrella (in Germany we call it „tot“) is popping out by pressing the button and fulfilling its purpose. Kenneth’s umbrella has a handle made out of horn and the stick is made out of wood, so its very light but sturdy. Pasotti has certificates that the horns come from animals that died by natural causes. It becomes its full beauty after it has been manually opened. My umbrella has a dog-head handle and a massive chrome stick. Now the wind can come and the rain too!

GENTLEMAN´S WORD

How to act like a gentleman with an umbrella? Mindful, thats for sure! There are a lot of better things than getting stabbed by an umbrella. You should also take care that you shake of the excess rain off the umbrella before entering into a store/restaurant/etc.. A gentleman who walks with a lady should always protect her from the rain first, of course!
