Summer OOTD

Endlich mal eine individuelle Location für ein Outfitshooting! Der Sommer ist da, die Outfits werden heller und leichter. Man kann von einem Zweireiher nun mal nicht behaupten ,dass dieser leicht ist, doch der Stoff ist in der Tat leicht. Man kann es nur nicht sehen auf dem Foto. An dem Outfit gefällt mir vor allem, dass so viele tolle Details versteckt sind.

Im Juni geht´s für uns zur Pitti Uomo. Wenn der italienische Sommer nicht mega heiß wird, dann ist der Zweireiher mein Begleiter. Die leichte ZARA Hose ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil dieses Sommerlooks.

Das Hemd ist maßkonfektioniert von Van Laack mit einem Picadilly Kragen. Über das Thema Kragen haben wir auch schon hier berichtet. Die Krawatte ist gestrickt und vintage.

Eines meiner Lieblingsdetails in diesem OOTD sind die Manschettenknöpfe, die ich von einer guten Freundin bekommen habe. AVOCADO Love!

Die Socken sind zwar etwas lang für meinen Sommer-Geschmack, aber die FALKE Cool 24/7 Serie ist kaum zu spüren. Die Schuhe sind von Lloyd und zurzeit meine Lieblingsschuhe!

OOTD 37# – How to combine a red tie

Many men own a red tie – but in my opinion combining a
red tie in the right way is not that easy.
Of course you can always combine a red tie with a navy blue suit – but there is always a risk to look like a employee of Deutsche Bahn, if you don’t wear it in perfection.

To avoid the Deutsche Bahn look, there are a few things you should take care of.
I think that you can perfectly combine red accessories with tones of grey and beige.
If you wear a grey or beige vest with a simple pattern under your navy blue jacket,
nobody will stop you to ask for the next train.
In this post’s outfit I decided to wear a beige-grey mixed jacket to let the red tie be the keypiece of the look, but not too extroverted.
A light beige pocketsquare completes the look.
The grey trousers have a glen check pattern and the burgundy derbys match the tie!

OOTD 37# – Rote Krawatte richtig kombinieren

Viele Männer besitzen eine rote Krawatte –
doch ich finde eine rote Krawatte zu kombinieren ist gar nicht mal so einfach.
Klar kann man eine rote Krawatte super mit einem dunkelblauen Anzug kombinieren – doch dann läuft man auch ganz schnell Gefahr, wie ein DB – Mitarbeiter im Dienst auszusehen, wenn nicht alles perfekt sitzt.

Um das zu vermeiden, gibt es ein paar Dinge,
die man beachten kann.
Ich persönlich finde, dass man rote Accessoires wunderbar mit Grau- und Beigetönen kombinieren kann.
Wer unter einem blauen Sakko eine beige oder graue Weste trägt, wenn möglich mit Muster, der läuft sicher nicht Gefahr nach dem nächsten Zug gefragt zu werden.
Bei meinem Outfit am Wochenende habe ich mich also bewusst für ein beige-grau meliertes Sakko entschieden, um diese dunkelrote Krawatte als Hauptdetail zu tragen. Dazu ein Einstecktuch in einem etwas helleren Beige.
Die graue Hose hat ein leichtes Glen Check Muster und die dunkelroten Derbys knüpfen an die Krawatte an!

OOTD 35# – above Florence

The second day in this beautiful city starts with the idea to see it from the top. Okay, I need to explain: It’s already noon and the destination is the „Piazzale Michelangelo“ with the best view over Florence. For anybody who wants to visit Florence – it’s worth it to rise that point. My outfits are limited by the clothes I brought with me to Florence because my luggage was full of Pitti outfits.

Light shoes are a must-have and with 14 C° the tweed jacket keeps me warm but not too warm. Kenneth is joining me with the colorful FALKE socks…they are an eye-catcher!
