„…yes, the shirt is good, but it’s a little too tight at the chest!“
„…sure, the shirt is good, but it slips easily out of the trousers ‚cause it’s too short!“
„…right, the shirt is good, but the sleeves are a little too long!“
„…yes, the shirt is good, but the collar size could be better!“
„…well, the shirts are good, but they are not tailored shirts!“

Everyone who buys ready to wear shirts knows one of these statements. There is always something which bothers you. A ready to wear shirt may be very good, but it’s good enough so you do not have some issues about it! With a tailored shirt you’ll surely have less issues!

That we are working with Van Laack since January is nothing you for you. At this years Pitti Uomo we already wore Van Laack shirts and it makes it even more interesting for us, that they have a store in our beautiful hometown Bremen! The appointment is at noon. We’ll get tailored shirts! Szymon and I are on the road since 9am already, as we had a busy timetable for this day.
When we arrived at the store Erika welcomed us with kisses. She also helped us when we had to pick up the shirts for the Pitti Uomo – we directly had a connection so the atmosphere was very cool and fun!
Then Raphael introduced himself – he seemed to be very cool & relaxed – shopping is more fun with consultants like Erika and Raphael!

„…first I want to show you the new fabrics for your tailored shirts, they just arrived!„

After they offered us coffee or water, we started. Szymon gave me the advantage. I already wore a Van Laack shirt, which suited very well. But Erika recommended the one or other improvement and I also had one or two wishes for my tailored shirts. I really like it, when the sleeves of my shirt are a litte more short than regular, because I like to wear short sleeves with my jackets. With short sleeves you can present the wrist details better!

Erika and I agreed pretty soon, so it was Szymon’s turn! They also agreed very soon. The measuring part was done – the heavy part was pending: the selection of fabrics, patterns & styles. The best thing about a tailored shirt is, that you can choose every single detail as you want it to be. But when there is such a great range of different fabrics and patterns, it can also be very hard!
But I would claim that Szymon and I did very well!
After Raphael and Erika noted all dates they told us, that they will call us within 14 working days and then we can collect the shirts. 14 DAYS! I thought this will take longer…DOPE!

After we dressed again we had a little chat with Erika and Raphael. All in all we had a lot of fun – Erika and Raphael are very capable and reliable – if you ask them for a judgement, they’ll give you their honest opinion! So if you need a tailored shirt, we warmly recommend to search for a Van Laack store! And if you are around Bremen the next days, you should visit their measuring event on the 9th & 10th of March!

Van Laack – Maßhemd

„…ja, ist schon ein geiles Hemd, aber etwas zu eng an der Brust!“
„…klar, ist schon ein geiles Hemd, aber rutscht schnell aus der Hose, weil zu kurz!“
„…stimmt, ist schon ein geiles Hemd, aber die Ärmel sind wir etwas zu lang!“
„…ja ist schon ein geiles Hemd, aber die Kragenweite könnte besser sein!“
„…naja, ist schon ein geiles Hemd, aber ist nun mal kein Maßhemd!“

Jeder, der Hemden von der Stange kauft, kennt diese Aussagen. Es gibt immer etwas, was einen stört. Das Hemd von der Stange kann noch so gut sein, aber es ist nie so perfekt, dass man nichts zu bemängeln hat. Mit einem Maßhemd hat man da schon weitaus weniger Probleme!

Dass wir seit Januar mit Van Laack zusammenarbeiten ist für euch nichts neues. Schon auf der Pitti Uomo haben wir Hemden von Van Laack getragen – dass Van Laack eine Filiale in unserem wunderschönen Bremen hat macht das Ganze für uns natürlich umso interessanter.
Der Termin ist auf 12 Uhr angesetzt. Es gibt Maßhemden! Szymon und ich sind bereits seit 9 Uhr unterwegs, da wir an dem Tag einiges zu erledigen haben.
Als wir in den Laden kommen werden wir mehr als herzlich von Erika mit Küsschen links und rechts begrüßt. Mit ihr haben wir auch die Hemden für die Pitti ausgesucht, direkt besteht eine sehr sehr coole und lustige Atmosphäre!
Dann stellt sich Raphael uns vor – cooler entspannter Typ – mit solchen Beratern kann Shopping nur Spaß machen!

Nachdem uns Kaffee, Cappuccino & Wasser angeboten wurde, ging es ans Eingemachte. Ich durfte anfangen! Ich hatte bereits ein Van Laack Hemd an, welches schon ziemlich gut saß. Doch die ein oder andere Feinheit hatte Erika mir dann empfohlen und den einen oder anderen Wunsch äußerte ich dazu auch noch. Ich bin nämlich ein großer Fan davon, wenn die Ärmel ein wenig kürzer als normal sind, da ich meine Sakkos auch gern mit kürzeren Ärmeln trage und man somit z.B. die Uhr oder die Armbänder hervorheben kann.

Erika und ich waren uns recht schnell einig, somit war Szymon entsprechend schnell dran. Auch die beiden waren sich schnell einig. Somit war der einfach Teil der Maßprozedur erledigt. Der schwierige Teil stand nun bevor – die Auswahl der Stoffe und Formen.
Dass man die Möglichkeit hat sich jedes Detail vom Knopf bis zur Naht aussuchen zu dürfen, macht natürlich so ein Maßhemd aus. Wenn man aber eine so große Auswahl an verschiedenen Stoffen und Mustern hat, kann man sich auch echt schwer tun.
Ich würde aber behaupten, dass wir uns da relativ schnell entschieden haben!
Nachdem Raphael und Erika dann alles notiert haben, haben sie uns erzählt, dass ein Anruf in 14 Werktagen folgen wird und wir die Maßhemden dann abholen können. 14 TAGE! Ich hab gedacht, das dauert länger…GEIL!

Nachdem wir uns dann wieder unsere Klamotten angezogen haben, haben wir noch ein wenig mit den beiden geschnackt!
Alles in allem hat es sehr Spaß gemacht – die beiden sind super auf uns eingegangen und haben auf Nachfrage immer Ihre ehrliche Meinung gesagt!

Wenn ihr also ein Maßhemd braucht, seid ihr bei Van Laack in der Domshof Passage in Bremen bestens bei Erika und Raphael aufgehoben!
Besonders am 09+10.03.18 lohnt es sich, den Store aufzusuchen! Die Domshof Passage feiert Geburtstag und anlässlich dieses Events veranstaltet Van Laack ein Maßevent!
